While conducting basic biotechnological research on skin and wound healing effects of Regenics’ novel products, Regenics’ scientists struck upon what is to our knowledge the worlds largest and best documented effect on collagen secretion from fibroblast skin cells.
Collagen is a protein making up the connective tissue in the skin, making skin firm and smooth. With age, the fibroblast cells become less active and secrete less collagen, which leads to thinner and less flexible skin, and wrinkles is the physical manifestation of lack of collagen. Increasing the natural secretion of collagen from the skins own cells will regenerate the connective tissue and improve appearance of the skin, including reduction of wrinkles.
Initially, Regenics’ scientists were studying the collagen effects of our products to investigate collagen secretion in wound healing, where collagen is secreted to the wound, where is forms the bulk of scar tissue. Faster closure of wounds will reduce the size of a scar and improve its appearance.

Visible appearance is an important aspect of health and wellbeing. In an era where we grow older than ever before while retaining good overall health, anti-ageing routines have become part of the daily life. Users of cosmetic products are paying more attention to scientifically documented results and there is increased awareness of side effects, environmental impact and product origins. Yet the cosmetic marked is flooded with skincare products that are not satisfactory in a scientific perspective. Cosmeceutical products – cosmetic products with active ingredients having near pharmaceutical active ingredients – are becoming in demand with raised awareness among cosmetic customers. Regenics’ cosmeceutical active ingredient is scientifically documented, utilizes natural raw materials to naturally repair skin cells and stimulate the skin cells at the cellular level.
